Thank You, Gracias, 감사합니다

November 28, 2014

It's been two weeks since I've posted. Geeeeze. I'm such a lazy person!! I need to change that haha. How has everyone been doing for the last couple of days? Did you have a good thanksgiving? Eating loads of turkey, ruining diets, etc. My thanksgiving dinner will be in two days so I'm SUPER excited for that!!!
I know Thanksgiving Day was yesterday and I should've posted a thankful post YESTERDAY, but hey! I was sick. *tear tear

I've been a bit sick for the past two or three days and I've been listless or without energy for quite a while now. Sleeping and resting. I guess my body felt too overworked with me constantly studying and not going outside to take a breath of fresh air. I like it inside thank you very much. We all need ways to get rid of our stress and don't be afraid to take breaks every once in a while!! Even God had a resting day after working.
Sore throats are awful and the best cure is to drink lots of liquids. Loads of them. Whether it be tea, water, or juice you gotta drink gallons and gallons of it to help your poor throat feel better. I had to go to the bathroom at least 10 times a day because of that!! I feel much better now even though my voice sounds like I have a frog down my throat, but I'm thankful that I didn't have a fever.

Happy late thanksgiving everybody!! Spread the cheer of gratefulness (did you think I was gonna say Christmas? That's next month) and give thanks to those around you! I have been blessed with so many people in my life, but I want to give a huge shoutout to God and my family. They have always been by my side no matter what and knew when I needed help. Whenever your friends are too busy to talk, your family will always be there for you no matter what. They're your foundation along with God. They're the ones who support you and help you in times of need and happiness. I am very thankful for that.
I am thankful for the three hot meals I get every. Single. Day. Without fail. Even the clean water we are provided with is a huge plus. The snacks that we are able to treat ourselves with, the warm blankets we can wrap up in when it gets too cold, a fluffy pillow under our heads, and even a chair to sit in! Be thankful for all the little things you have instead of looking at what you don't have. Nothing can come out of being pessimistic and focusing on the bad things instead of looking at what's good and the advantages you have.

For those struggling with anything in their lives, I want to share a Bible verse a friend sent me with you.

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
-Joshua 1:9

Stay strong everybody. You can do it :)

I am thankful that God had been able to lead me through the experiences that have molded me into the person I am as of today. He has been with me through thick and thin and was always there even if I was being a stubborn little child. Sometimes there are days when nothing goes the way you want it to. But. Guess what? Everything happens for a reason. God is preparing you for the future so that each and every day you grow stronger and stronger.
Don't be afraid to pray to God and ask for help.

There are a million other things that I am thankful for and I encourage you to have a time to reflect on the things you have been blessed with.
Thank you guys for accompanying me on this journey and reading my blog!! I really appreciate it :)
