Yesterday, I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. Yup! All four! Yay.
They made me fall asleep while I had the surgery done and as soon as I woke up, I started crying. It was really weird! I had no idea why I was bawling my eyes out and even the doctor and nurses seemed confused.
Confusing my poor father made me cry even more. I wanted to tell him I didn't know why I was crying but my mouth was stuffed with cotton. My chin, cheeks, and whole mouth was numb and so that was a whole new experience. Not only was it frightening, but it did make me feel a sense of panic in my body. Maybe that's why I cried.
After the suregry, they put me in a "recovery room" so I could wake up and get ahold of myself. After that, they helped me into a wheelchair so they could wheel me to my car. I felt incredibly weak but I grew better by the second. On the car ride home, I decided to vlog.
With teary eyes and a whiny voice, I held my two ice packs on my face and decided to talk to my camera. Five minutes later, we reached my house and when my mom came to see how I was doing, I decided to cry even more.
"Why are you crying?" she asked.
"I DON'T KNOW." that's when I started crying all over again.
They got me inside and I talked to the camera forty more minutes. It was extremely weird how I was talkative even after the doctors had pulled four teeth out of my gums. My wonderful mother put a sleeping bag and comfy blankets and pillows next to the fireplace, which my amazing father was starting up.
After I was done talking to the camera (who knows what I blabbered on about), I finally went to sleep. The day consisted of watching The Big Bang Theory, eating blended porridge (don't know how porridge can get softer than it already is), and eating ice cream. Thanks mom and dad!
We watched TV shows and movies together and it was a lovely day. Regardless of the eery feeling of not being able to feel my mouth or tongue, I had a good day (minus the blood too).
Do expect a video of my one-third-awake-self vlogging about the surgery next week. Other than that, here's another video I posted yesterday. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
Here's a lovely photo from yesterday while I was talking to the camera.
And another one from today. It looks like I have two tennis balls in my mouth and my face is much more sore than yesterday.
